Ryanna McMillen

Ryanna has worked in the Laser Aesthetics industry for 7 years. She started with American Laser Center in 2006 where she managed the clinic in Eugene, Oregon. She was eventually led to Bend, Oregon where she worked for Exhale Spa and Laser Center. Ryanna was the main in-house Trainer for all new staff and that's where she found her love for educating. She is extremely dedicated and passionate about her career and clients. For this reason, she worked to continue with her education and training, continually taking classes to stay on top of the latest information and technology the industry has to offer.

Ryanna has extensive experience in skin rejuvenation, tightening, body contouring and hair removal using a variety of technologies including laser, pulsed light, and radio frequency. In addition, her experience in the Medi Spa Industry allowed her to change focus to the most valuable aspect in the business - properly educating aestheticians and RNs on the most up-to-date information, knowledge and understanding of laser technology so that they can be the best at what they do. Ryanna's integrity, passion and drive are the reason for Northwest Laser Institute.

Brooke Thayer, RN
Educator/Trainer

Brooke is a Registered Nurse who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2003 from Linfield College-School of Nursing. She has a passion for nursing and loves to teach as well. She has an extensive background in teaching which includes working as a Clinical Educator for St. Charles Hospital and a Clinical Nursing Instructor for Central Oregon Community College. She currently works as a Nurse Injector and Laser Technician for Northwest MediSpa and Laser Center. She is experienced in working with the many different injectables including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Juvederm, Restalyne and Radiesse.

Brooke feels that it is critical to maintain continuing education and incorporates the latest injection techniques and up to date information in her dermal filler and Botox class. It is her mission to give the best and help you be the best that you can be!

Heidi Smith
Educator/Trainer

Heidi has been practicing advanced skincare since 2007 after receiving her Master Esthetics certificate. She is a firm believer that a continued education and advancing ones skills is imperative for building a successful career in this industry. She spent her previous time working for a very successful laser center in Las Vegas as the primary clinic trainer. She routinely held training seminars to update the staff on new or changing protocol, as well as overseeing all new employee’s initial training period. This is where Heidi discovered her love and talent for educating others.

Heidi Specializes in Laser hair removal, foto facials, skin tightening, chemical peels, and body contouring, among others. She is excited to be a part of Northwest Laser Institute, because she is confident that the training students receive will enhance each individual’s career.
